VA FAQ #21 - Can I have 2 VA Loans at same time?

VA FAQ #21 - Can I have 2 VA Loans at same time?

We work with and speak to many Home Buyers that want to use VA Financing each week.   We hear many Veterans state that would like to utulize their VA Home loan benefit again, but they already have a VA Loan on another home.   With the improvements to the VA Entitlement calculations over the past several years, combined with restored Entitlement after the sale or payoff of your home with a VA or VA Jumbo loan, you may have options to use your VA Loan Benefit again,  even having 2 VA Loans at the same time.  It does depend on eligibility, location, and remaining entitlement,  please call us to see if you might qualify.

Yes,  you can have two VA Loans at the same time.

So what is the key to getting a 2nd VA loan without paying off or refinancing the current VA Loan?    We will need to review your Certificate of Eligibility, Property history, and then determine how much VA Entitlement you have available to utilize towards the purchase of your next home using your VA home loan benefit (this also works for VA Refinances).   We suggest that you contact us direct to review your specific situation,  we can help you determine just how much home you may qualify for using your VA Loan or VA Jumbo Loan, and can even assist in getting your VA Loan entitlement restored.

When working with an experienced VA Lender,  you can use your VA Benefit a second time.

Many Veterans can even use their VA Loan Benefit again even after experiencing a Short Sale or a Foreclosure.    Even if the foreclosure was on a VA Loan, and sometimes even a VA Foreclosure has been structured in such a way to allow us to offer a new VA Loan to the Veteran.   Of course normal Foreclosure waiting periods apply for Foreclosures or Deed in Lieu, however Short Sales come in many varieties, so we suggest that you contact us direct to review your specifics to see what is available to help you.

As you can see,  there are many ways your VA Loan Benefit can help to purchase or refinance your home,  please give us a call to review your situation and see if using your VA Loan Benefit can help save you money and position your Home Loans for Safety and Security for the future.
